Through the entire series' operate, "ER" obtained optimistic reviews from critics and enthusiasts alike. It scored 80 on Metascore, which means "typically favorable assessments" according to 21 critics. Marvin Kitman from Newsday gave the clearly show a very beneficial assessment, declaring: "It is like M*A*S*H with just the helicopters exhibiting
